Software Developer (.NET)

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Developer with strong .NET development experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Experience in GIS-related applications or mapping technologies will be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based and enterprise applications using .NET technologies.

• Collaborate with business users and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

• Develop and enhance application features using ASP.NET, MVC, C#, VB.NET, and related technologies.

• Build and integrate APIs and web services to support business applications.

• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical architecture decisions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

• Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5 to 7 years of software development experience with strong expertise in .NET technologies.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • ASP.NET

  • MVC Framework

  • C#

  • VB.NET

  • .NET Framework / .NET Technologies

  • API Development and Integration

  • Angular

  • ReactJS

  • HTML5

  • TypeScript

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within timelines.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to GIS concepts and technologies.

• Experience with ArcGIS SDK or similar geospatial platforms.

• Knowledge of mapping and location-based applications.

• Familiarity with software deployment and DevOps practices.
