Our Singapore center is the 2nd largest IT setup (after Paris Head Office) for Crédit Agricole CIB's worldwide business. We work daily with international branches located in 30 markets by:

Department & Position

The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Capital Market applications for our worldwide users.

The candidate will be involved with many front-line IT professionals who understand the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. The candidate will also be in touch with business users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

The candidate will join the Singapore Capital Market Transversal Operations IT team in charge of supporting market transaction reconciliation, valuation, payments and confirmations.

The team interfaces with Front-Office applications (ORCHESTRADE etc.), Back-Office applications (SUMMIT, CALYPSO etc.), Financial reporting and Risk management systems as well as referential data repositories (customer data, market rates).

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about Capital Market activities: 16 applications covering investment banking workflows.
  • Benefit from the mentorship and guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Automate operational processes for real time application monitoring and user communication:
  • Python scripts to compute indicators and send alerts.
  • Design monitoring dashboards with Grafana, Qokpit, Dynatrace.
  • Have an impact on the bank's day-to-day activities and witness the added value of your job directly from end users.
  • Contribute with creative ideas to improve systems and processes.
  • Tackle real-world problems and develop problem-solving and troubleshooting skills that are essential for success in the tech industry.

The scope will be adapted depending on the situation and the progress of the trainee.

Qualifications and Profile

Pursuing Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Candidates should have:

  • Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages. Shell Scripting.
  • Framework exposure to ReactJS, FastAPI, Flask and SqLite3 (DB), PostgreSQL, any other RDBMS.
  • Basic UNIX / Windows knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and excel in the IT field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Autonomy and motivation to add value to the team.
  • Fluency in English, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment.
