Eucharist-Tech develops its software platforms and products primarily in Java and owns the intellectual property for all such developments. Its proprietary no-code platform enables the creation of distributed and decentralised business applications without writing code, allowing users with business process expertise-but no programming background-to build applications independently.
Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are conversant in Java and can contribute effectively and immediately in the ongoing development of this platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software components of the no-code application platform using Java to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
- Research, absorb, and implement new product features promptly to meet evolving business requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain platform stability and optimize performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform architecture and code quality to accelerate product delivery and enhance user experience
- Apply Java programming skills to implement new functionalities that empower non-programmers to create business applications
- Demonstrate creativity and productivity in problem-solving to overcome technical challenges and improve platform capabilities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Core Java knowledge or equivalent like C++, PythonKnowledge of databases like SQL, NoSQL, Big Data etc.
- Knowledge of frameworks/libraries like Hibernate, JDBC, Swing, Spring etc. Knowledge of wire formats like JSON, XML etc.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.) and design principles.
- Knowledge of mobile app development and related design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in design.
- Ensure modifications of the Product are tested thoroughly covering all aspects including exception scenarios
- Be a creative and productive problem solver
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or relevant qualification
- Fresh graduate or non-degree holders with a strong aptitude and exposure in Java programming or equivalent will also be considered
