Software Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Analyze functional requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated and manual tests as needed investigate and document defects.
• Monitor and improve automation stability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve testability.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience in software test automation.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and version control (Git).
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging skills, and attention to detail.
