Software Architect

We're Hiring: AI Software Architect / Engineering Leader

At Tekion, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on AI Software Architect to build and scale next-generation AI-powered enterprise applications on the cloud.

We're seeking technology leaders with 12+ years of software engineering experience and strong expertise in AI/Generative AI, who are passionate about solving complex business problems through innovation and scalable architecture.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong hands-on coding expertise in Java and object-oriented programming

• Proven experience architecting and scaling large engineering systems and teams

• Deep expertise in production-grade LLM implementations including RAG architectures, prompt engineering, agentic AI workflows, tool-calling, evaluation, and observability

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS, ELK Stack, and cloud-native technologies

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, CI/CD, and production operations

• Experience building large-scale enterprise platforms across eCommerce, manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, or similar domains

• Track record of architecting and delivering AI-powered product features in production environments

• Strong collaboration skills across Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams

• Ability to hire, mentor, and grow top AI/ML engineering talent

Nice to Have:

• Experience in automotive, ERP, or vertical SaaS platforms

• Exposure to microservices and cloud-native scalable architectures

• Contributions to open-source AI/ML initiatives or applied AI research

• Experience with ML infrastructure including model serving, experimentation, feature stores, and A/B testing

• Understanding of responsible AI practices including bias mitigation, privacy, auditability, and hallucination reduction
