Key Responsibilities

Application Management

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications, including development, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades.

• Ensure business applications are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance.

• Monitor system performance and resolve application-related issues.

Software Development & Implementation

• Lead software development initiatives and coordinate with development teams for design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Ensure software solutions meet business requirements and technical standards.

• Oversee application integration with other enterprise systems and third-party platforms.

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor a team of software developers, application engineers, and support specialists.

• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery.

• Provide technical guidance and best practices for software development and application support.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and implement solutions.

• Communicate project updates, risks, and technical recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

System Security & Compliance

• Ensure all applications comply with security standards, data protection policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate regular system audits, updates, and patches.

Project & Vendor Management

• Manage software implementation projects, ensuring delivery within timelines and budgets.

• Coordinate with software vendors and service providers for licensing, upgrades, and support.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve application efficiency, automation, and system performance.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, software trends, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 5-10 years of experience in software development, application management, or IT operations.

• Experience managing enterprise applications and software development teams.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application support processes.

• Experience with database management, system integration, and cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or HR systems.

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Strong understanding of application security and performance optimization.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
