The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skillset and extensive experience in this industry. The candidate will work with our Clinical Technology sales team to understand customer requirements and produce thorough Functional and Technical specification documents. Responsible for providing planning, design, development, testing, implementation and support of integration projects for pharmacy, materials management and related healthcare systems to customers
Responsibilities
- Work within team to understand customer requirements and produce thorough Functional and Technical specification documents. Responsible for development, testing and support of integration projects for pharmacy, materials management and related healthcare systems to customers.
- Perform analysis, development and resolution phases with other team members. This includes an overall project timeline, and recommendations, and contributions to new development or process improvement of technical service and tools as well as training.
- Provide technical integration assistance to operations team for the configuration and setup of system hardware relates to system and product interfacing, including 24/7 attendance to customer calls and troubleshooting for hardware and software related issues, onsite and offsite.
- Provide written/verbal communications to team and client regarding technical issues and project status.
- Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support.
- Manage application development for multiple projects and assist in application installation and testing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user.
- Provide assistance in driving the project activities.
- Work across multiple projects with stakeholders and define business needs and objectives of new application development or enhancement to existing systems
- Manage and co-ordinate the activities of a team of system development, maintenance and support staffs
- Prepare RFPs, assess proposals from vendors and recommend the solution best meeting business needs and objectives
- Ensure system development process and system output are conforming to regulation requirements and guidelines
- Manage and monitor the project development and progress to ensure completion on agreed schedules
- Ability to conduct project steering committee independently
- Highlights any potential concerns / risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- General knowledge of Project Management principles and methodology
- Ability to work independently to gather, analyse, and organize data, define problems and requirements, and recommend solutions
- Preferably specializing in IT/Computer - Software, IT/Computer - Network/System/Database or equivalent with prior hands on experienced.
- Experience in Mobile programming
- writing and optimizing SQL code
- Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
- Familiarity and experience with Microsoft web technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL Server
- Understanding and Familiarity of source control (eg. Git) or similar version control systems
- Creative and Strong problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project Management-related certifications such as CITPM, COMIT or PMP
