About The SBL Vision FSC

The SBL Vision Family Service Centre is a community service by The Singapore Buddhist Lodge Welfare Foundation. We are a social service agency located in Tampines since 1998. Our services are available to anyone, regardless of race, language, religion, and nationality.

Job Position: Social Workers

Job Requirements:

. Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work

. Good interpersonal skills and a team player

. Good command of English (spoken and written) and another official language

. Proficiency in Malay will be an advantage to better serve our diverse community

. Passion to work with individuals and families in need

. Fresh graduates are welcome

Job Scope:

(A) Casework and Counselling

- Conduct assessment, planning, and intervention for cases

- Participate in case management meeting with community partners

- Work with formal systems and conduct case conferences

(B) Information and Referral

- Provide triage and intake services

- Referral to appropriate agencies and services

(C) Group Work and Community Work

- Plan and run group work and community programmes

- Conduct community outreach and needs assessment

- Work with community partners and stakeholders
