Social Worker Part-Time Locum

RESPONSIBILITIES

If you can dedicate 16 to 20 hours per week, we invite you to join our team as a locum social worker where you will be paid an hourly rate. Your expertise and experience are invaluable, and we're excited to offer a flexible opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact without full-time commitment.

We are looking for locum social workers to support our Family Service Centres (FSCs) and Community Case Management Service (CCMS) team.

Roles and Responsibilities

The roles & responsibilities of the social worker would include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct triage and intake services for members of the community.
• Provide casework and counselling interventions for individuals and families.
• Engagement and advocate with systems and stakeholders in the community.
• Strategize and coordinate interventions to support beneficiaries.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD/supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor / Postgraduate Diploma / Masters in Social Work.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. Casework
2. Counselling
3. Risk and crisis management
4. Group work facilitation

• No prior work experience required for new entrants to social work.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify and solve complex problems in a timely, efficient manner.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable seamless collaboration with diverse groups.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively, articulate ideas concisely and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Passionate about uplifting vulnerable individuals and building thriving communities.
