Social Worker / Counsellor - FAM (TRANS)

TRANS Family Services is a non-profit organization providing social services since 1979. We have 6 centres across Singapore proving services supporting families in need. As we expand our services, we are looking for positive and like-minded individuals to join our team.

About The Role

• Provide counselling service to individuals and families facing family relationship, marital and divorce issues.
• Conduct other intervention programmes for adults and children impacted by divorce.
• Plan and implement other suitable programmes and outreach efforts.
• Plan and conduct practice research and evaluation.
• Provide information and referral service.
• Carry out other administrative duties required by the Agency

Candidate Requirements

A. Technical Competencies:

• Degree in Counselling or Social Work
• 3 years relevant experience in counselling
• Good command of English language and writing skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good team player

B. Core Competencies:

• Ability in providing assessment and therapeutic intervention
• Ability in networking with partners for clients and programmes
• Ability in planning, conducting and evaluating programmes

C. Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Diligence, integrity and resilience
• Flexible and steady under pressure
• Open to learning
• Passion for working with families in distress
