Social Work Associate (SAAC)

Job Description

• . Co-work with social worker on cases and assist them with their daily tasks.
• . Assessing clients and determining the type of help they need.
• . Working with social workers to determine Intervention plans and termination of cases.
• . Assist in fieldwork and home visits
• . Researching and coordinating community services
• . Helping clients to complete the necessary paperwork to apply for assistance,
• administering various subsidies and claims
• . Undertaking regular check-ins with clients.
• . Documenting client behavior, maintaining of case updates/recordings, filing
• assessment, minutes taking
• . Provide support in any other work duties or projects (if any)

Job Specifications

. Possess a Diploma in Social Work, preferably with 2 years of relevant experience

. Experience in working with special needs children/adults would be an added advantage

. Fresh graduate may be considered

. Pro-active work attitude with good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

. A team player who is able to work effectively and harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team setting

. Able to work independently and effectively under pressure

. Proficient in MS Office
