Key Responsibilities
Programme Design & Delivery
1.Design and curate curriculum and content that are evidence-informed and grounded in social work theories, supporting children-at-risk holistically in their education, social, mental, and emotional wellbeing, self-leadership, and family strengthening through parental involvement.
2. Develop and implement events and holiday initiatives to support children's mental and emotional wellbeing, character formation, values, and life skills-especially during transitional stresses.
3. Stay updated on emerging challenges, trends, and community needs to ensure programmes remain relevant, impactful, and sustainable.
4. Collaborate with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to create meaningful impact for children and families-at-risk.
Facilitate experiential learning workshops and sessions for children.
Manage and attend to children with child-centric, trauma-informed approaches during programme sessions.
Programme Administration
1. Coordinate programme logistics including materials, venues, manpower, and event flow.
Manage volunteers through intentional journeying, training, and guidance, including pre-session briefings and debriefings.
2. Communicate and work closely with parents, ensuring regular updates on children's progress, key learnings, and take-home activities.
3. Collect and analyse evaluation data, including outcomes tracking, feedback from volunteers/parents/stakeholders, and apply findings to strengthen programme effectiveness.
Manage recruitment and exit of clients and volunteers, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and documentation requirements.
4. Prepare reports, documentation, and collateral materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage resource allocation and programme budgets, monitoring expenses to support effective delivery.
5. Provide administrative support to ensure programmes run smoothly and efficiently.
Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Social Work or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in programme planning and facilitation with children and families.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Ability to multi-task, work in a team, and meet deadlines effectively.
Passion for serving children and families-at-risk with commitment to holistic and sustainable support.
Heart for volunteer development and stakeholder engagement.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in stakeholder, volunteer, and event management.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in design tools (e.g., Canva) an advantage.
