Job Description

Havas Play, the Social, Content and Experiential Events unit of Havas Singapore, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Strategist to join our dynamic team in Singapore.

This role is suitable for someone passionate about online culture, consumer behavior, and the ever-evolving landscape of social media and content marketing. You will play a crucial role in developing insightful strategies that fuel creative ideas and deliver impactful campaigns for our diverse portfolio of clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Team Contribution: Collaborate effectively with Account Servicing and Creative teams to ensure strategic alignment throughout the campaign lifecycle, and ensuring that campaigns meet client objectives.
  • Insight Generation: Conduct thorough research (qualitative and quantitative) into social media trends, platform algorithms, content consumption habits, audience behaviors, competitive social strategies, and category conversations to unearth compelling insights.
  • Strategy Development: Translate digital insights into clear, actionable, and inspiring strategic frameworks for social media platforms (eg. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and various content formats (eg. video, short-form, long-form articles, interactive experiences).
  • Brief Writing: Craft comprehensive and inspiring creative briefs specifically tailored for social media, content marketing and PR initiatives, guiding our creative teams in developing groundbreaking work.
  • Client Collaboration: Support tam in client presentations, workshops, and discussions, articulating strategic recommendations for social, content marketing and PR effectively.
  • Performance Analysis: Contribute to post-campaign analysis, identifying key learnings, optimizing ongoing strategies, and informing future approaches.
  • Trend Spotting: Stay relentlessly abreast of the latest social media platform updates, emerging content formats, creator trends, and cultural movements shaping online conversations.
  • Audience Mapping: Develop detailed social audience profiles and journey maps to inform targeted content and engagement strategies.

Skills and Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or any related discipline
  • At least 1-3 years of professional experience in a strategic role within an advertising/social marketing agency/marketing consultancy
  • Experience in strategic planning and marketing research
  • A strong understanding of social media platforms, content marketing principles, and experiential marketing approaches
  • Active learner and forward-thinker who excels at identifying evolving social media, content, and communication trends
  • Proven ability to conduct research, analyze data, and synthesize complex information into clear, concise insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Persuasive and effective communicator; possess strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Pro-active, responsible, accountable, and collaborative
  • A natural curiosity for consumer behavior, cultural trends, and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
