We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Video Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for capturing on-site video content at client locations in Singapore and transforming it into engaging Reels, Stories and short-form videos for social media platforms. Key Responsibilities
1) Content Capture & Production
· Visit client centres to film high-quality video footage aligned with the brand identity and campaign goals.
· Capture behind-the-scenes moments, interviews and real-time activities for engaging social media content.
· Ensure proper lighting, composition and sound quality during on-site filming.
· Maintain good on-site etiquette, safeguarding privacy and ensuring footage is captured appropriately (especially around children, where relevant).
2) Editing & Content Creation
· Edit raw footage into compelling Reels, Stories and short-form videos optimised for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
· Add captions, transitions, music and effects to improve clarity and engagement, while staying on-brand.
· Deliver fast turnaround edits to keep content timely, relevant and impactful.
· Maintain organised project folders, version control and clear file naming to support internal reviews and client approvals.
3) Briefings, Meetings & Pre-production Planning
· Attend project briefings and content planning sessions to clarify objectives, audience, key messages and success criteria.
· Translate briefs into practical production plans (shot lists, filming schedule, and required b-roll) to maximise time on site.
· Develop and maintain storyboards for key videos, and update them as creative direction evolves.
· Participate in check-ins and review meetings to align on priorities, timelines and approvals; communicate risks early.
· Capture required stakeholder inputs (e.g., client feedback) and incorporate changes efficiently, keeping a clear record of what was agreed.
4) Social Media & Trend Adaptation
· Stay updated on social media trends, viral formats and platform algorithm changes.
· Ensure each video aligns with brand messaging, tone of voice and audience preferences.
· Optimise videos for each platform's format, resolution, captions and best practices.
5) Performance Tracking & Innovation
· Monitor performance metrics such as engagement, views, watch time and shares.
· Identify what is working and recommend improvements to content style, pacing and structure.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new video concepts, recurring series and campaign ideas.
Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
· 1–3 years of experience in videography, video editing, or social media content production.
· Strong knowledge of video shooting, editing and post-production techniques.
· Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
· Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn video formats.
Technical Skills
· Strong understanding of video composition, lighting and sound quality.
· Ability to produce engaging, shareable content that fits current social media trends.
· Experience optimising output for different platforms (aspect ratios, resolution, captions/subtitles).
Soft Skills
· Creative storyteller with a strong eye for pacing, structure and detail.
· Able to work independently and manage on-site shoots efficiently.
· Strong time management and multitasking skills across multiple projects.
· Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with clients and internal teams.
