Job Description

WorldFirst is a subsidiary of Ant International, a global digital payment and financial services leader. Through the World Account, WorldFirst is meeting the needs of SMEs engaged in international trade or business, both online via marketplaces or websites, as well as offline to support importers and wholesalers. This includes global collection (receiving payments), making payments, currency conversion, risk management to help WorldFirst customers reduce costs, improve turnover efficiency to generate more revenue and sales, and quickly capture global business opportunities. WorldFirst serves one million customers worldwide and is connected to over 100 marketplaces.

Role Overview

As a dynamic and creative marketing contributor, you will support marketing campaigns and social media efforts, coordinate marketing events, repurpose content across paid/owned/earned channels, develop and localise creatives assets. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring our marketing activities align with the company's brand guidelines and contribute to the overall success of our marketing initiatives. By collaborating with our regional and global marketing team, you will help drive our brand's social visibility and customer understanding in Southeast Asia markets. You will be part of the Southeast Asia marketing team (covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines) and report directly to the Head of Marketing (SEA) and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

Content Marketing

  • Support the team with market research, content strategy, ideation, execution
  • Create and adapt content (Video creative, Static creative, Blogpost)
  • Review performance of our social media accounts (TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Research and work with our marketing executive to develop written SEO content
  • Adapt client stories to be used across earned, owned and paid media

Community Building

  • Ideation and implementation of thought-leadership content relevant to our business audience, whether in the format of online or offline.

Events & Marketing Coordination

  • Support with event preparation and execution
  • Coordinate external vendors, KOLs and stakeholders cooperation with our brand
  • Support the regional marketing team with day-to-day marketing related processes

Requirements

  • Undergraduate based in Singapore
  • Able to commit to a 6-month internship
  • Foundational knowledge in marketing and/or finance
  • Familiarity with video or design tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) is a plus
  • Proficiency in a Southeast Asian language (e.g. Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu) is a plus
  • Proactive and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong written communication skills with a creative flair
