Employment Type: Full-Time
Level: Junior Executive
Department: Group Marketing
Reports To: Group Management / CEO
We are looking for a creative, energetic and highly driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to establish and lead the digital presence of our Group and its subsidiary companies.
This is a newly created position within the Group and presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to build our social media and digital marketing function from the ground up.
Unlike a conventional marketing position focused on a single brand or industry, this role will manage multiple subsidiary brands operating across distinctly different sectors, primarily:
Construction & Contracting
Events & Audio-Visual Production
Video & Media Production
Logistics & Transportation
Other businesses and new ventures within the Group
The ideal candidate must therefore be outgoing, creative, adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to understand different businesses and translate their activities into engaging digital content.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable attending an event or production shoot, visiting a construction project, covering logistics operations, interviewing team members, and working from the office to plan and execute the Group's digital marketing strategy.
Manage and grow the social media presence of the Group and its subsidiary companies, with primary focus on:
TikTok
Responsibilities include:
Develop individual social media strategies for each subsidiary brand.
Plan and maintain monthly content calendars.
Create, schedule and publish engaging content.
Develop Reels, TikTok videos, Stories, posts and other short-form content.
Write captions and marketing copy appropriate to each brand.
Identify relevant trends and adapt them appropriately for our businesses.
Maintain consistent brand identity across each company's digital platforms.
Monitor comments, messages, engagement and audience interaction.
Grow followers, reach, engagement and enquiries organically and through paid campaigns.
This is a hands-on role and not purely a desk-based marketing position.
The successful candidate should be willing to visit our various operations, projects and events to capture authentic content.
This may include:
Construction project progress
Behind-the-scenes event setups
Concerts, conferences and corporate events
Video and media productions
Logistics and transportation operations
Staff features and interviews
Customer success stories
Equipment and operational showcases
Company milestones and achievements
The candidate should be comfortable appearing on camera when required and, more importantly, be confident approaching staff, clients and project teams to create engaging content.
Develop a clear identity and marketing approach for each subsidiary while maintaining an overall connection to the Group.
The candidate must understand that what works for a construction company may not work for an events company, production house or logistics business.
You will be expected to adapt:
Tone of voice
Visual style
Target audience
Content strategy
Marketing campaigns
Lead-generation approach
according to the requirements of each business.
Social media should ultimately contribute towards business growth.
The candidate will work with management and the respective subsidiary teams to develop campaigns aimed at:
Increasing brand awareness
Generating enquiries and sales leads
Promoting services
Building credibility
Supporting recruitment
Highlighting completed projects
Developing corporate visibility
Strengthening the Group's online reputation
Where appropriate, manage or coordinate paid social media advertising and boosted campaigns and monitor their effectiveness.
Experience in website development or management will be considered a strong advantage.
The candidate may be required to:
Coordinate with external website developers/vendors.
Update website content, images, projects and company information.
Ensure websites remain current and professionally presented.
Recommend improvements to website structure and content.
Ensure social media campaigns are properly connected to relevant website pages.
Assist with basic SEO and Google visibility where applicable.
Coding experience is not compulsory, but the ability to confidently manage and coordinate website vendors will be highly valued.
The Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager will be expected to monitor and report on key performance indicators, including:
Social media follower growth
Reach and impressions
Engagement rates
Video views and watch time
Website traffic
Enquiries generated
Leads generated from digital campaigns
Performance of paid advertisements
Content output and consistency
Growth of individual subsidiary brands
A concise monthly digital marketing report should be presented to management showing performance, areas for improvement and the following month's strategy.
The ideal candidate should be:
Outgoing and confident
Creative and full of ideas
Comfortable working independently
Highly organised
Able to manage multiple brands simultaneously
Comfortable working across very different industries
Willing to travel locally between project sites, offices and events
Comfortable communicating with management, staff, clients and vendors
Able to work in fast-moving environments
Willing to occasionally work outside normal office hours when major events or productions require coverage
Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to post
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can build the role, not simply fill it.
Preferred experience:
2-5 years of experience in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Content Creation or a related field
Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Experience creating short-form video content
Basic photography and videography skills
Video editing capability using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar platforms
Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
Experience managing paid social media campaigns
Good written and spoken English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Added advantages:
Website building or website management experience
SEO knowledge
Google Ads / Google Business Profile experience
Meta Ads Manager experience
Experience managing external creative or website vendors
Experience marketing B2B companies
Experience working across multiple brands
This is not a position where you will spend every day marketing the same product.
One day you could be covering a major event.
The next day you could be documenting a construction project.
Another day you could be inside a video production studio or following a logistics operation.
The variety is what makes this position unique.
We want someone who sees those differences as an opportunity to create interesting content and build strong brands.
As this is the first dedicated Social Media & Digital Marketing position within the Group, the successful candidate will have significant opportunity to shape how the Group approaches digital marketing.
For the right individual, the position can develop beyond social media management into a broader Group Marketing leadership role, with responsibility for brand strategy, digital campaigns, content production and marketing across the Group's expanding portfolio of businesses.
If you are creative, outgoing, commercially minded and excited by the challenge of building multiple brands across completely different industries, we would like to hear from you.
