We're building beautifully simple money tools — starting in Singapore, with more
markets to come — and we have a brand that already turns heads.
Now we want a social presence that lives up to it.
The role:
You'll own Chocolate Finance's social — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and wherever else our community shows up. You'll be the voice and the face of the brand online, the person turning our story into scroll-stopping content, conversations, and culture.
You'll work directly with senior leadership, and you'll have the latitude to run with your ideas. We're not looking for someone who needs a brief for every post. We're looking for someone who spots a moment in the wild and acts on it before anyone tells them to.
What you'll do:
• Run our social channels end-to-end — content calendar, posting, captions, community, comments, DMs.
• Build a content engine that feels distinctly Chocolate: warm, witty, smart, and very shareable.
• Concept and produce content yourself — short-form video, statics, memes, carousels, behind-the-scenes — using Canva, CapCut, or whatever ships fastest.
• Spot cultural moments early and react in our voice — the kind of speed that turns followers into fans.
• Build and manage basic partnerships with local creators, lifestyle brands, food handles, and the people our customers already follow and trust.
• Brief our designers and video team when bigger productions are needed, and steer the creative.
• Track what's working, share clear weekly numbers, and double down on what compounds.
• Show up at events, shoots, and brand activations. Be in the room where it happens.
Who you are
• You've scaled social media for a widely popular brand or handle in Singapore — maybe a B2C lifestyle brand, a much-loved local food or lifestyle handle, a fintech with a real following, or any brand where you owned the channel and made it move.
• You have agency. You don't wait. You see something, you ship it.
• You give a crap. About the craft, the brand, the comments section, the small details that make a post feel intentional.
• You're a social ninja — fluent across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and whatever's emerging this quarter. You know what works on each, and why.
• You're self-motivated. Nobody needs to check on you to know the work is happening.
• You write copy that sounds like an actual human — warm, sharp, a little playful, never corporate.
• You understand creators, partnerships, and how to build relationships that pay back in reach and trust.
Nice to have
• Basic design skills (Figma, Canva, Photoshop) so you can self-serve on most posts without queuing behind a designer.
• Video editing chops (CapCut, Premiere, anything that makes you fast on short-form).
• A small Rolodex of Singapore creators, photographers, and brand partners you've worked with before.
• Comfort with paid amplification — boosting posts, working with the performance team, reading the data.
• A point of view on Chocolate Finance — you've used the app, or you've already thought about why our brand is different.
