Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Senior Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing our global social media strategy across key platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You will lead initiatives in social content, influencer marketing, and integrated campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion in international markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills, excellent bilingual communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing end-to-end social media projects.

Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with global marketing goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, video, stories) for multiple platforms.
  • Monitor social trends, audience insights, and competitor activities to optimize content and campaigns.
  • Manage social media calendars, community engagement, and customer interactions in a timely manner.

2. Influencer Marketing

  • Identify, negotiate, and collaborate with relevant influencers and content creators in target markets.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end influencer campaigns, from briefing to performance analysis.
  • Build long-term relationships with influencers and agencies to amplify brand reach.

3. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on social media KPIs (engagement, reach, conversion, ROI).
  • Use data insights to refine strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • Present results and recommendations to senior management.

4. Project Ownership

  • Drive social-led campaigns that support product launches, brand initiatives, and seasonal promotions.
  • Lead social media projects independently, from concept to execution and evaluation.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must-Haves

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, preferably in an international or agency setting.
  • Proven track record in managing social media accounts for global brands, with demonstrated growth in followers, engagement, and conversions.
  • Strong experience in influencer marketing, including campaign management and relationship building.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) to work with stakeholders in China
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in social analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Creative thinker with an eye for visual storytelling and platform-specific best practices.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in Travel or Entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.).
  • Basic skills in graphic design or video editing (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
