We are inviting candidates for the position of:

Social Media Executive

We are looking for a creative Social Media Executive to join Iris Singapore Team in supporting Samsung's social media community, with a strong focus on community management user-generated content (UGC) sourcing and management. This role involves engaging and reaching out to the public and consolidating UGC (photos and videos) taken using Samsung products for publication on Instagram. This will provide many learning opportunities for anyone who loves all things social content and wants to build out their expertise in this field into a fledgling strategy career.

Job Description:

  • Manage and respond to Instagram comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner, while identifying relevant posts for repurposing or amplification.
  • Proactively source additional Instagram content, including organic posts and user-generated content (UGC), aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Manage the end-to-end UGC permission process, including outreach, tracking approvals, and documentation.
  • Catalogue and organise approved assets systematically for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure content workflows are executed smoothly without errors or gaps.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to prevent content, permission, or asset management issues.
  • Write, edit, and adapt social media copy in line with brand tone of voice and platform best practices.
  • Publish and schedule content ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Support crisis management efforts by monitoring sensitive conversations and flagging potential risks early.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
  • Min. of 1-year experience in social media, community management, or digital content roles.
  • Strong written communication skills and a good sense of tone.
  • Familiarity with Instagram features and best practices.
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing manual, detail-heavy processes.
  • Interest in mobile photography or tech brands is a plus.
  • Meticulous, process-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience with Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite or social media management tools
