About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media Creative Specialist to drive the creative direction, personality, and campaign feel of our social media presence.
This role complements our Social Media Production Specialist. While production focuses on how content is made, this role focuses on what the content says, how it feels, and how it connects with audiences.
You will be involved from ideation to execution - appearing on screen when needed, shaping creative concepts, and ensuring our brand voice and storytelling are consistent, engaging, and memorable.
What You'll Do
- Develop creative concepts, storylines, and content ideas for social media campaigns
- Act as on-screen talent orcreative presence when suitable for content
- Define and maintain the brand tone, personality, and creative direction across platforms
- Work closely with the Production Specialist to translate ideas into strong visual content
- Lead creative planning for campaigns, launches, and themed content series
- Review and refine content to ensure it aligns with brand voice and objectives
- Contribute to content calendars from a creative and storytelling perspective
- Stay on top of social media trends, formats, memes, and audience behaviours
- Experiment with new creative approaches and formats to drive engagement
What We're Looking For
- Strong creative instincts and storytelling ability
- Comfortable appearing on camera and engaging audiences authentically
- Good understanding of social media culture and platform dynamics
- Ability to think in campaigns, narratives, and content series
- Confident communicator who can pitch and defend creative ideas
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with production and marketing teams
- Self-driven, expressive, and willing to experiment
Portfolios, social media accounts, or personal content projects are highly valued. Formal qualifications are less important than creativity, presence, and ideas.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience as a content creator, host, or on-screen personality
- Exposure to creative direction, branding, or campaign planning
- Basic understanding of performance metrics and content optimisation
- Experience working with brands or marketing teams
