We are seeking an independent, creative and trend-savvy Social Media Content Creator (1-year contract) to join our team. This role focuses on creating engaging, platform-specific content for Instagram, Tiktok and other social media channels to build brand awareness, foster audience engagement, and drive traffic.

This will be a 1-year contract role with opportunity to extend and convert into full-time.

What you'll be doing

• Create content with a strong storytelling focus, and supported by trending sounds and hashtags to maximise reach
• Film, edit, and produce short-form videos that are visually appealing, consistent with brand identity, and optimised for TikTok and Instagram
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes for TikTok and Instagram

Who we're looking for

• 2-3 years of experience in a video production or social media content creation role
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and visual communication skills, with the ability to create thumb-stopping social media content
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
• Proven track record of delivering high-performing social media content 
• Proficient in using graphic design and video editing tools, and various AI tools in content production.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently 
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
