Social Media & PR Intern

Job Summary & Primary Relationships

Position will support the Social Media and Public Relations division at the global brand headquarters in Singapore.

Assists the Social Media and PR department in the development, execution and follow-up of campaigns and projects for the brand.

Job Description

Social:

• Archive and organise social media coverage and clippings
• Assist with social media content creation and community engagement
• Updating of social media databases
• Assist with preparing for paid influencer outreaches

Public Relations:

• Archive and organise media clippings and coverages
• Assist with PR reports and post campaign reports
• Updating of media databases
• Assist with campaign planning and execution such as preparation of media gifts, media deliveries, press materials and media events

May interact with Social Media and PR agencies, Corporate Communications, Design, Sales, Warehouse & Operations departments on a regular basis and work directly under the Managers of the Social Media and PR teams. May possibly also interact with regional franchises and/or subsidiaries.

Will experience different aspects of corporate communications and will be a part of an international team of dynamic young professionals.

Requirements

• Candidate to be able to commit for a 6-month internship (July – December) full time.
• Candidate would preferably have experience in or have a major or minor in public relations, social media, marketing, journalism, comparative literature, English or communications. Excellent written and grammatical skills in English are a must.
• Candidate should enjoy working as part of a team and interacting with communications professionals, media and influencers.
• Ambitious and career-minded Junior or Senior year candidates preferred.
• Candidates should be independent, self-motivated, out-going, detail oriented, and passionate about the retail, F&B and/or luxury industries.

Candidates who speak or who are keen to use their developing skills in foreign languages – most especially Japanese, French, Arabic or Mandarin are invited to apply.
