About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detailed-oriented Social Commerce Executive to drive engagement and conversion across our social commerce channels. This role combines livestream hosting, commercial execution and performance optimisation to support our growing eCommerce business.
You will play a key role in bringing the Hegen brand to life through engaging livestream experiences, compelling storytelling and strong audience interaction across platforms such as TikTok and Shopee. The ideal candidate is confident on camera, commercially driven, highly organised and passionate about creating meaningful customer experiences that translate into sales performance.
Responsibilities
Social Commerce (Livestream & Conversion)
- Host livestream sessions on platforms such as TikTok and Shopee approximately 4 times a week, including evenings or weekends where required.
- Drive sales through engaging product demonstrations, storytelling and real-time audience interaction.
- Present product features, benefits and promotional bundles in a clear, confident and compelling manner.
- Engage actively with viewers through live Q&A, product recommendations and interactive sessions to build trust and drive conversion.
- Stay updated on social commerce trends, livestream formats and platform best practices to continuously enhance content effectiveness.
Planning & Execution
- Plan and maintain a social commerce calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, promotional periods and product launches.
- Collaborate closely with eCommerce, Marketingand Trade teams to align on campaign objectives, featured products, promotionaloffers and inventory readiness.
- Coordinate livestream backend operations including product tagging, pricing accuracy, vouchers, bundles and platform set-up.
- Ensure all livestream assets, scripts and operational details are prepared accurately and executed smoothly.
Performance & Optimisation
- Monitor and track livestream performance across key metrics including sales revenue, conversion rates, engagement, traffic and viewership.
- Analyse campaign and livestream performance data to identify gaps, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Continuously optimise content strategy, presentation techniques and product focus to improve engagement and commercial outcomes.
eCommerce Support
- Support day-to-day eCommerce operations and marketplace execution where required.
- Ensure alignment across campaigns, product priorities and broader commercial objectives.
- Assist in marketplace activations, promotional executions and online merchandising initiatives.
- Contribute to the overall growth and performance of Hegen's online sales channels beyond livestream activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Communications, Media, Business, Retail, eCommerce or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in eCommerce, retail sales, customer engagement or related commercial roles. Experience in livestreaming is highly advantageous.
- Strong verbal communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present products in a persuasive and relatable manner.
- Familiar with TikTok Shop, Shopee Live and/or other social commerce and livestreaming platforms.
- Good understanding of online consumer behaviour, sales conversion and customer engagement strategies.
- Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities to maximise sales performance during livestream sessions.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to coordinate livestream schedules, promotional mechanics and backend set-ups accurately.
- Highly adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proactive, resourceful and solutions-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Willing and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends where required.
