Job Description

The Company

We are partnering with a leading consulting firm that is experiencing substantial growth. This role has exciting prospects hence they are seeking for a highly motivated and experienced SOC Manager, responsible for their PnL and leading a team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security best practices, incident response procedures, and security tools. They will be responsible for the overall management and effectiveness of the SOC, ensuring it efficiently identifies, analyses, and responds to security threats.

The Role


You will lead a high-performing team of 10 across the region, overseeing all aspects of SOC operations. This includes developing and implementing the security strategy, managing day-to-day activities, establishing best practices, and configuring tools for effective threat detection and response. You'll also analyze alerts, investigate incidents, coordinate with internal and external teams, track metrics, identify cost-saving measures, and train the team, ensuring the SOC operates efficiently and aligns with overall security goals.

Your Profile


To secure this SOC Manager role, you will need a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a similar field from a reputable university. They require at least 7 years of experience in security operations, with a minimum of 3 years leading and managing a security team. Your expertise should encompass security concepts, frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, and best practices (NIST CSF). Additionally, you will need in-depth knowledge of security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS) and experience with incident response procedures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are crucial, along with the ability to handle pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Finally, a proven track record of developing and managing budgets is essential.
