Job Description



Purpose of the Job:
Perform engine disassembly, cleaning, inspection and assembly for testing as part of the engine repair and overhaul process

  • Conduct engine disassembly from modular level to piece part level, inspect and clean engine piece parts and hardwares, re-assemble engine for testing.
  • Perform assembly or disassembly work at section level to meet production schedule.
  • Upkeep & maintain assigned equipment, tooling and fixtures
  • Support and participate in EHS and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance to engine manuals, approved technical data and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure strict compliance to all EHS regulations
  • A team player with effective communication/ interpersonal skills
  • Ability to support overtime production work on ad-hoc basis as and when necessary
  • Able to travel abroad for 95% of the year with minimum period of 1 month per deployment
  • Perform work in the field to meet customers requirements under tight deadlines and irregular hours

  • Required Experience and Qualifications
  • NITEC or Poly diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical & Aerospace Technology
  • At least 2 years work experience in disassembly/assembly/inspection in aviation industry
  • Prior aviation experience in engine MRO facility will be an added advantage.
  • Technical skills in lock-wiring, torque application and manual interpretation required.
  • Fresh NITEC graduates with Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics background may be considered
