Job Description

Summary

This role is responsible for driving Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across the plant including production, engineering, maintenance, logistics and warehouse operations. The role focuses on improving Overall Plant Effectiveness (OPE), productivity, safety and operational discipline while embedding High Performance Organization (HPO) behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive TPM implementation across the plant including AM, PM, FI, Safety and 5S pillars.
  • Lead productivity and operational improvement initiatives to improve OPE.
  • Work with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.
  • Drive focused improvement projects to eliminate operational losses.
  • Lead 5S and visual management across production, warehouse and laboratory areas.
  • Integrate TPM with plant safety programs and BBS initiatives.
  • Extend TPM principles to logistics and warehouse operations including material flow and storage optimization.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and coach teams on TPM, problem solving and continuous improvement tools.
  • Track performance metrics and report improvement progress to plant leadership.
  • Ad-hoc assignments by Supervisor

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • 24 years experience in process improvement, TPM, Lean manufacturing or operational excellence.
  • Experience in manufacturing, plant operations, logistics or warehouse environments preferred.
  • Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Hands-on and proactive with strong drive to deliver results.
  • Good stakeholder management and ability to work cross functionally.
  • Experience with improvement tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Kaizen and Root Cause Analysis.
