The Senior Solution Architect is a trusted technical advisor responsible for leading the design, architecture, and successful delivery of Forescout solutions across complex enterprise environments. Working closely with customers, partners, sales, and engineering, the Senior Solution Architect provides strategic guidance throughout the customer lifecycle-from solution design and deployment through optimization, expansion, and long-term adoption.
This role combines deep technical expertise with strong consultative and leadership skills to ensure successful business outcomes while driving technical excellence across customer engagements. The Senior Solution Architect owns the technical strategy for assigned customers, leads complex implementation projects, develops integration architectures, mitigates delivery risks, and serves as the highest technical authority within Professional Services engagements.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end technical architecture, design, and delivery of complex Forescout implementations across enterprise and large-scale customer environments.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers, providing strategic guidance aligned to their business objectives, security strategy, and operational requirements.
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure Forescout architectures that incorporate industry best practices and customer-specific requirements.
- Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and executive-level technical discussions.
- Develop implementation roadmaps, migration strategies, and deployment methodologies that minimize operational risk and maximize customer success.
- Architect and oversee integrations between Forescout and third-party technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, NAC, Active Directory, PKI, vulnerability management, firewalls, CMDBs, cloud platforms, identity services, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership throughout project execution, ensuring delivery quality, governance, and adherence to architectural standards.
- Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization activities across distributed enterprise environments.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, and Customer Success to resolve product challenges and influence future product enhancements.
- Mentor Professional Services Engineers and junior architects by providing technical guidance, coaching, knowledge transfer, and architectural oversight.
- Develop reusable architecture standards, deployment methodologies, implementation templates, and technical best practices that improve delivery consistency globally.
- Support strategic pre-sales engagements by validating solution architecture, reviewing Statements of Work, providing technical assurance, and assisting with customer presentations when required.
- Deliver architecture assessments, health checks, technical advisory services, and optimization workshops that maximize customer value and product adoption.
- Drive customer satisfaction by acting as a trusted long-term advisor and building executive-level technical relationships.
- Contribute to internal enablement initiatives, global knowledge sharing, innovation programs, and technical communities of practice.
- Continuously expand expertise across cybersecurity technologies, networking, cloud platforms, identity services, and emerging security architectures.
Technical Expertise
- Expert knowledge of enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures and Zero Trust principles.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise security solutions.
- Advanced expertise with Forescout products and their deployment across complex customer environments.
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS, virtualization platforms, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid enterprise environments.
- Experience integrating Forescout with technologies including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Fortinet, Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, ServiceNow, Tenable, Rapid7, CrowdStrike, VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities across networking, operating systems, security platforms, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience with automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
Professional Experience
- 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity, networking, or infrastructure solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading large, complex enterprise implementation projects from architecture through production deployment.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent customer engagements while maintaining delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
- Strong consulting background with experience translating business requirements into technical architectures.
- Experience working directly with executive stakeholders, IT leadership, security teams, and project managers.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and influence without direct authority.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
- Forescout Certified Administrator (FSCA) and Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE) certifications preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CASP+, Security+, GCIA, GCIH, GPEN, Azure, AWS, VMware, or equivalent are highly desirable.
