Job Description

What The Role Is

The Surveillance & Enforcement Division is the intelligence, investigation and enforcement arm of the Ministry of Health.

You will be part of the team that provides a comprehensive range of surveillance and intelligence services to the Ministry and supports the enforcement arm to ensure compliance with Ministry's legislations and regulatory standards.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What You Will Be Working On

You will be required to:

  • Plan and oversee the conduct of intelligence and surveillance into breaches and potential breaches of MOH legislations and regulatory standards;
  • Ensure compliance by the players in the Ministry's regulated space;
  • Build operational linkages with other intelligence agencies, especially in field intelligence and surveillance;
  • Build intelligence infrastructure including the development of the appropriate systems to support intelligence work; and
  • Co-ordinate and develop basic intelligence and surveillance capabilities in MOH.

What We Are Looking For

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary education in any discipline
  • Preferably with at least 5 years experience in intelligence with the SPF or other enforcement / intelligence agencies.
  • Good grasp of investigative and intelligence issues and processes.
  • Ability to conduct surveillance, operations and field intelligence.
  • Meticulous with strong analytical, planning and conceptual skills.
  • Possess strong writing and good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
  • Effective team player with strong initiative.
  • Possess high standards of professionalism, personal discipline and integrity.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and appreciate a dynamic environment with constant new challenges.
  • Fresh graduates showing strong interest in investigative work are also welcomed.
