Job Description



  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Group Corporate Secretariat & Governance
    • Serve as the primary Company Secretariat lead for the Group and its subsidiaries.
    • Manage Board, Board Committee, and shareholder governance, including meeting planning, papers, minutes, resolutions, and statutory filings.
    • Advise the Board, CEO, and senior leadership on corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance matters.
    • Maintain and enhance governance frameworks, policies, and authorities matrix in line with best practices.
    • Coordinate with external advisors (legal, corporate secretarial firms, regulators) where required.
  • Corporate Strategy & Planning
    • Support the CEO and senior leadership team in group corporate strategy formulation, including long-term strategic plans and annual priorities.
    • Drive the annual corporate planning cycle, translating strategy into clear objectives, initiatives, and milestones across business units.
    • Facilitate strategic reviews, offsites, and senior leadership discussions to ensure alignment and clarity.
    • Monitor external trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to the Group's strategic direction.
  • Performance Management
    • Design and manage the group performance management framework, including KPIs, scorecards, and reporting cadence.
    • Track performance against strategic and operational targets; highlight risks, gaps, and corrective actions.
    • Prepare management and Board-level performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.
    • Support leadership in embedding a performance-driven culture across the Group.
  • Process Standards & Governance Enablement
    • Develop and maintain group-wide process standards, governance frameworks, and operating principles.
    • Ensure consistency and discipline in key corporate processes (planning, approvals, reporting, governance).
    • Work with business units to improve process clarity, accountability, and cross-functional coordination.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives while balancing agility and control.
  • Stakeholder & Leadership Support
    • Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and senior leadership, providing structured thinking and sound judgement.
    • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that cut across strategy, governance, and execution.
    • Support special projects, corporate initiatives, and Board-mandated priorities as required.
Requirements

  • At least a Degree in Law, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 812 years of relevant experience across corporate secretariat, corporate development, strategy, or corporate planning roles.
  • Experience in a group or semi-private organisation preferred.
  • Professional qualification as a Company Secretary (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, board processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in corporate strategy, planning, and performance management.
  • Highly structured thinker with the ability to translate strategy into execution; detail-oriented and comfortable working across functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with the Board and C-suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgement.
