[What the role is]
The Lead Executive (Curriculum Support & Operations Management) provides dedicated support to the School of Applied Science (SAS) in the areas of curriculum development and academic operations. The role focuses on the contextualisation and application of data analytics and AI concepts for applied science disciplines, contributes to the development of PET and CET programmes related to data analytics & AI, and leverages analytics and digital tools to streamline academic operations and improve efficiency within SAS. This enables the systematic and sustainable adoption of data analytics and AI across SAS.
[What you will be working on]
1. Curriculum Development Support
- Develop and contextualise AI and data analytics teaching materials for Diploma in Biomedical Science with Analytics (BMSA) and other SAS diplomas, translating general concepts into relevant applied science examples and learning activities.
- Design and develop assessments, projects, and learning activities that integrate analytics and AI components relevant to applied science disciplines.
- Support the development and delivery of CET courses related to AI and data analytics for SAS learners and industry upskilling needs.
2. Academic Operations Management
- Apply data analytics and digital capabilities to streamline academic operations and internal processes across PET and CET programmes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using analytics tools (e.g. Power BI) to support workload analysis, operational tracking, and reporting needs.
- Enhance data visibility and accessibility to support evidence-based planning and informed decision-making within SAS.
3. Learning Innovation & Emerging Technologies
- Explore and pilot the use of AR/VR and emerging educational technologies to enhance learning experiences for BMSA and other SAS diplomas.
- Assist in documenting pilot outcomes and supporting potential scaling where appropriate.

[What we are looking for]
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Strong digital and analytical skills, with hands‑on experience using analytics tools (e.g. Power BI or equivalent) to support data‑driven operations.
- Good organisational, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with academic staff, CET teams, and administrative stakeholders.
- Interest in applied learning and education innovation, with willingness to support the use of analytics, AI, and emerging technologies (e.g. AR/VR) within an applied science learning environment.
- Prior experience working in an applied science, education or analytics‑related environment will be an added advantage.
