Job Summary
We are seeking a talented SAP Access Management Consultant with strong knowledge in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SAP GRC solutions, overseeing security and authorization processes, and ensuring robust IAM practices across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and enhance secure SAP environments that comply with regulatory standards and align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement of SAP GRC Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management modules through regular optimization, enhancement initiatives, and best-practice adoption.
- Continuously refine SAP security and authorization models to improve robustness, efficiency, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve IAM strategies, processes, and procedures to enhance user lifecycle management and access governance.
- Conduct recurring security assessments, audits, and risk reviews, ensuring findings are addressed and translated into future control improvements.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to review, refine, and elevate security standards, ensuring policies evolve with emerging requirements and operational learnings.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP security and IAM best practices, proactively recommending improvements in architecture, tooling, and operational processes.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve SAP security logs, alerting mechanisms, and incident response processes to strengthen overall security posture.
- Streamline and optimize role, profile, and authorization design to support scalable least-privilege access and reduce operational complexity.
- Stay informed on emerging threats, compliance updates, and SAP security trends, converting insights into actionable security and process improvements.
- Lead and support SAP security and IAM projects with a strong focus on continuous enhancement, post-implementation refinements, and operational excellence.
- Guide and uplift the operations and BAU team through process improvements, capability development, and automation opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP GRC and Security Consultant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP security and authorization concepts.
- Hands-on experience with IAM processes including lifecycle management, RBAC, and SSO.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, SOX) and their impact on SAP security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and business teams.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- SAP certifications in GRC and/or security are desirable.
- Knowledge of data analytics, dashboard creation (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud), and application of AI/automation to enhance security, IAM processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, especially within SAP landscapes.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and other SAP interfaces.
- Prior experience leading IAM implementation or transformation projects.
