Job Description

What The Role Is

You will join a team dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of national patient patient financing schemes, including MediSave, MediShield Life, MediSave, Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) and HealthierSG, by developing strategies and policies that strengthen governance and claim compliance among healthcare providers.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What You Will Be Working On

You will take on a broad range of responsibilities aimed at improving governance and oversight of Singapore's healthcare financing schemes. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and reviewing financial governance policies across accreditation, audit and enforcement to strengthen Singapore's healthcare financing ecosystem
  • Building and sustaining strategic partnerships across MOH divisions and with external stakeholders to drive policy development through meaningful engagement and consultation
  • Developing and maintaining robust systems to support the audit and accreditation of medical institutions and medical practitioners under the various patient financing schemes


What We Are Looking For

  • Tertiary education in any discipline. Background in economics audit or finance would be advantageous
  • Prior experience in healthcare sector, insurance sector, or audit sector is an advantage
  • Prior experience in design of business processes and user experience is an advantage
  • A team player who demonstrates good interpersonal skills and initiative.
  • Motivated and resilient, able to work independently and see through projects to completion.
  • Able to foster good working relationships with working partners; open-minded and receptive to views and feedback of administrators, medical professionals, policy makers and operational personnel.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity and credibility.
