Primary Objectives of Position
Assist to develop audit programmes
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance of CP6 and CP7 and to prepare for LTARR
audits
Assist and facilitate in relevant IMS audits led by Rail Performance Management
Department
Assist and support the safety and security requirements for IMS audits
Major Responsibilities
Review and revise audits checklist to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of internal
CP6, CP7 and pre-inspections
Conduct audits on relevant SBST Rail departments to maintain compliance with CP6,
CP7 and for pre-inspections
Conduct WI / RA reviews and pre-audit checks to prepare departments for LTA-RR
audits
Assist and support Rail Performance Management department (PM) on safety and
security requirements during IMS audits
Support the Governance and Emergency Planning sections of RGAEP
Job Specifications
Recognised degree / diploma in any discipline OR.
Approval by Ministry of Manpower to act as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
Minimum 1 year of work experience relevant to safety management or railway operations.
Knowledge/Skills
Acceptable interpersonal skills e.g. negotiation, communication.
Knowledge on Rail system will be an advantage.
Acceptable procedure, instruction or report writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
