Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Account Executive with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in full set accounting, including managing the accounts of subsidiary companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end closing, consolidation support, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Minimum Qualifications
. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including:
. Handling full set of accounts
. Managing subsidiaries or multi-entity accounting
. Exposure to audits, consolidations, and financial reporting
Key Responsibilities
Full Set Accounting
. Manage full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
. Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
Subsidiary Management
. Maintain bookkeeping and financial records for subsidiary companies.
. Assist in intercompany transactions, eliminations, and balance reconciliations.
. Coordinate with subsidiary teams on financial matters and documentation.
Reporting & Compliance
. Prepare monthly and annual financial and management reports.
. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
. Support external and internal audit processes, providing required documentation.
Financial Operations
. Manage cash flow, payment processing, and expense claims.
. Monitor and verify invoices, billing, and vendor statements.
. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Administrative & Support Functions
. Maintain accurate filing of accounting documents.
. Provide accounting support to management and related departments.
. Assist in implementation of process improvements and accounting system upgrades.
Required Skills
. Strong knowledge of full set accounts and multi-entity accounting.
. Familiarity with accounting standards and audit requirements.
. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, MYOB, SAP, QuickBooks).
. Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Additional Skills
. Experience in consolidation reporting (advantage).
. Knowledge of tax filing, GST/SST/VAT (depending on region).
. Ability to streamline accounting processes and improve workflow efficiency.
