Job Description

[What the role is]

The IMDA Accreditation and Spark programmes seeks to nurture and grow promising Singapore-based digital technology companies of different growth stages. If you have the interests and passion for innovative and emerging digital technologies and can communicate with senior executives of high growth digital tech startups, we'd like to have a chat with you.

You will be part of the Enterprise & Ecosystem Development division, a dynamic team made up of independent and self-motivated individuals, that works closely with senior executives of digital tech startups to bring them into the Accreditation and Spark programme, perform due diligence on the company to assess their credentials, and support their growth journey through developing new local and international market opportunities that will eventually help them establish track records.

You will also collaborate with both local and international industry partners, Government agencies and internal IMDA divisions to support the growth of these companies in the Accreditation and Spark programmes, with the aim to drive Singapore's digital transformation using best in class local-based technology solutions.

[What you will be working on]

Client Engagement & Problem Definition

  • Engage government agencies and enterprises to identify, distil, and prioritise digital pain points, translating broad challenges into clear problem statements and opportunity areas.
  • Work with business and IT stakeholders, including senior management and CXOs, to understand strategic objectives, operational constraints, and technology readiness.
  • Advise clients on how digital and emerging technologies can address complex, cross-functional, or sector-level challenges

Solutioning & Use Case Development

  • Scope, design, and structure use cases that may span multiple Accreditation and Spark portfolio companies, ensuring solutions are coherent, scalable, and outcome-driven.
  • Lead solutioning across the frontier AI stack, covering generative AI (LLMs, multimodal models, retrieval-augmented generation), agentic AI (autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, workflow automation), and embodied AI (physical AI systems, robotics, human-machine interaction).
  • Unpack and evaluate emerging and frontier technologies (e.g. AI, data platforms, cybersecurity, cloud, digital trust) and assess their applicability to real-world enterprise and government use cases.
  • Architect and develop end-to-end solution concepts encompassing data pipelines, model infrastructure, integration layers, and deployment considerations, with digital trust and AI governance embedded by design.

Presales & Opportunity Support

  • Support value creation teams to identify, qualify, and prioritise opportunities for technology solutioning across the portfolio.
  • Participate in buyer meetings, solution discussions, and presentations to articulate value propositions, solution approaches, and trade-offs clearly and credibly.
  • Translate client requirements into solution proposals, covering technical approach, commercial considerations, delivery models, and potential partners.

Demonstrations, Workshops & Enablement

  • Design and conduct innovation workshops, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and technical deep-dives to help buyers visualise solution value and adoption pathways.
  • Facilitate co-creation sessions with clients and portfolio companies to refine use cases and align expectations across stakeholders.

Market Intelligence & Solution Curation

  • Identify, assess, and benchmark top-tier digital solutions from global and local technology leaders, ensuring alignment with enterprise and government requirements.
  • Monitor developments across the AI and digital trust landscape, including model advancements, data platform evolution, and emerging regulatory requirements, to maintain technical credibility in advisory engagements and inform solution design.
  • Provide feedback to portfolio and internal teams on market demand signals, gaps, and emerging opportunities.

[What we are looking for]

(A) Academic

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are advantageous.

(B) Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, technical sales or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of modern technology stack and experience in solution consulting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical details to diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in system architecture design, cloud computing, microservices, and enterprise-level software development.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking, and security protocols.
  • Plugged into the ICT tech, start-up and/or R&D ecosystem in Singapore with strong knowledge of security standards and system scalability
