Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing custom-built furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, and other interior fit-out works. The ideal candidate should be able to read technical drawings and deliver high-quality workmanship independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble custom-built furniture and cabinetry according to approved drawings.

• Install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, TV consoles, vanities, wall panels, and other carpentry works on-site.

• Read and interpret shop drawings and production drawings accurately.

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

• Measure, cut, edge-band, drill, and assemble timber and laminate materials.

• Carry out adjustments, touch-up works, and rectification when required.

• Ensure all completed works meet quality standards and project specifications.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop and at project sites.

• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and installers to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out carpentry.

• Able to read and understand technical/shop drawings.

• Experienced in laminate finishing, cabinet fabrication, and furniture installation.

• Knowledge of woodworking machines such as panel saw, edge banding machine, CNC router, drilling machine, and hand tools.

• Good workmanship with attention to detail.

• Physically fit and able to work at project sites.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, residential, and office renovation projects.

• Familiarity with HDB, condominium, retail, and office fit-out works.

• Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g. CSOC) is an advantage.

• Singapore Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
