Reporting to the Site Foreman or Site Engineer, the Site Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of site activities and coordination of works relating to structural works.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance as stated by the contractual requirements.
- Check drawings for discrepancies & raise RFI's as necessary.
- Ensure that all labour including that employed by all sub-contractors understands and follow the site safety procedures. Report to Site Manager for any non-compliance issues by the sub-contractors if necessary.
- Ensure safe lifting procedures and maintain good housekeeping in working area.
- Ensure works is done in accordance with the specification and quality requirements.
- Receive and return issue of equipment from stores.
- Submit daily allocation sheets.
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Education: Minimum Technical Certificates in Construction industry
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Singapore Civil or Buildings Project
- Has completed at least 1 full cycle of a construction project
