Job Summary
Plan and oversee daily construction activities to achieve project progress, safety, and quality goals while managing workers, subcontractors, and resources to complete projects within budget and timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily construction activities on site to meet project progress, safety, and quality objectives
- Enforce compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and environmental regulations throughout all construction phases
- Manage and lead direct workers and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion within budget
- Develop workforce plans for in-house workers to optimize labor allocation and productivity
- Collaborate with consultants, Resident Engineers (RE), Resident Technical Officers (RTO), and in-house technical teams to resolve onsite discrepancies
- Identify and anticipate construction challenges, safety risks, and technical issues to implement preventive measures
- Participate in subcontractor and client progress meetings to communicate updates and address concerns
- Coordinate and manage delivery and storage of site materials and equipment to ensure proper, economical use and availability
- Apply knowledge and experience in condominium and deep basement construction to support project execution
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager and Directors to support project needs
