Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee plumbing installation works at construction sites and ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
The successful candidate will supervise site activities, coordinate with subcontractors and project teams, review technical drawings, and monitor the quality and progress of plumbing works to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate daily plumbing installation works including water supply systems, sanitary piping, drainage systems, and related services.
- Monitor site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth progress of site works.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment and maintain productivity on site.
Technical Coordination
- Review and interpret plumbing drawings, construction drawings, and technical specifications before site implementation.
- Utilize AutoCAD to review and verify drawings and ensure accuracy of installation works.
- Assist project engineers in resolving site technical issues and coordination matters.
Quality Control & Inspection
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship quality and compliance with project standards.
- Verify materials and installation works meet required technical specifications and approved standards.
- Ensure proper testing and inspection procedures are followed for plumbing systems.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily site records, inspection reports, and work progress reports.
- Prepare and manage site documentation related to inspections, material verification, and quality checks.
- Coordinate with consultants and relevant stakeholders during site inspections and approvals.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all site works comply with workplace safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Promote safe work practices and maintain good housekeeping on site.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision, preferably in plumbing or building services works.
- Experience supervising installation works and coordinating subcontractors at construction sites.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, plumbing layouts, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for reviewing construction and plumbing drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for site documentation and reporting.
- Familiar with site inspections, quality control procedures, and construction standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
