Supervise the construction process from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to the quality requirements.
Assign job tasks to workers and conduct frequent inspections to evaluate work quality, adherence to specifications, and regulatory standards.
Maintain open communication with contractors and subcontractors, facilitating smooth coordination for task completion.
Closely track site progress, documenting all activities, including material usage and milestones achieved, while addressing any concerns as needed.
Ensure that on-site construction works are carried out accordingly to local safety regulations and client's requirements.
Regularly report project status, including updates on progress, to the project manager, clients, and senior management.
Take on additional duties or tasks as required to support project success.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as CSOC, BCSS, SCW, or other recognised construction safety and management credentials
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within the construction industry
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
Expertise in reading, interpreting, and working with construction blueprints and plans
Solid understanding of construction operations, processes, and equipment
Capable of working effectively under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
