Site Supervisor cum Safety Coordinator/Supervisor

1. Reports to: Project Manager / GM / Director

Primary Responsibilities (Site Supervision):

. Supervise and coordinate all site activities to ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and schedule.

. Lead and monitor workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.

. Conduct daily site inspections, record progress, and report any delays or issues to the Project Manager.

. Plan and arrange manpower, materials, and equipment required for site operations.

. Ensure compliance with project timeline, quality control, and company procedures.

. Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities when required.

Safety Responsibilities:

. Act as the site safety coordinator/supervisor to implement and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies in accordance with Singapore regulations.

. Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and risk assessments.

. Identify and report potential hazards and unsafe practices, and recommend corrective actions.

. Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe work procedures on site.

. Maintain and update safety records, incident reports, and inspection checklists.

. Coordinate with WSH Officer (if any) and management to ensure continuous safety compliance.

Requirements:

. Possess a valid Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (BCSS) or WSH Coordinator certificate recognized by MOM.

. Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience in the construction industry (preferably in Singapore).

. Familiar with local construction codes, safety regulations, and site practices.

. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

. Able to read and interpret construction drawings.

. Physically fit and willing to work extended hours when required.
