We are seeking a highly experienced security professional to join our global security team to oversee security operations and security program for sites in AMSEA as Site Security Manager.

The Global Security Operations (GSO) team is responsible for all security operations and programs, ensuring a safe, secure, and resilient working environment across AMSEA sites.

This role supports daily security operations, incident response, access control governance, and coordination with internal teams and external partners. The Site Security Manager plays an essential part in maintaining a strong security posture while delivering excellent employee experience.

The Site Security Manager will report to Head Security (SEA) whose portfolio covers Southeast Asia countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. The team is accountable for the execution of Security programs and initiatives for Applied Material's regional security function.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations & Guard Force Management

  • Lead day‑to‑day security operations across the sites, ensuring full coverage, service quality and adherence to post orders.
  • Supervise and manage security vendors, staffing, shift schedules, performance and vendor's Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure quality, professionalism, and compliance of all security personnel.

Access Control & Identity Management

  • Oversee badge lifecycle, access authorisations, periodic access reviews, visitor management, and key/lock control.
  • Ensure adherence to global access policies and lobby/entry standards.

Security Operations & Systems Oversight

  • Oversee operation of security systems including CCTV, intrusion alarms and any duress systems
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, service tickets, upgrades, and system health monitoring in partnership with integrators and IT.
  • Support expansion-related security technology deployments.

Incident Management & Investigation

  • Serve as the primary incident lead and first responder for security events.
  • Ensure timely escalation, detailed documentation, and thorough after‑action reviews (AARs).
  • Conduct fact‑finding investigations and work with HR, Legal, Compliance, and relevant stakeholders.

Support for remote site offices security (AMSEA)

  • Oversees security operations and annual audits
  • Deliver security awareness training and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) (e.g. SOP, table-top exercise etc)

Security Risk Assessments & Compliance

  • Perform periodic risk assessments and maintain site(s) security risk register.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory obligations, customer requirements, and data privacy laws.
  • Drive audit readiness and corrective action closure

Perimeter, Parking & Dock Security

  • Oversee perimeter protection, lighting, gates, and parking controls.
  • Ensure secure and compliant operations for all staffs/visitors, vehicle, and delivery entry points.

Security Governance & Expansion Support

  • Strengthen SOPs, contractor controls, visitor management, and operational compliance.
  • Manage security‑related infrastructure enhancements for ongoing TIC expansion phases through 2026.
  • Support security projects and audits across Southeast Asia as requirements grow.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Education

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate is preferred to have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Minimal 5+ years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, or corporate security.
  • Experience in managing guard force operations and security systems (CCTV, alarms and/or access control).
  • Strong knowledge of emergency response, incident management, and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams (EHS, Facilities, IT, HR).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
