Job Description

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with experience in monitoring, observability, automation, and IT operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the health, availability, and performance of enterprise systems by implementing proactive monitoring solutions, automating operational tasks, and supporting production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Observability & Monitoring

  • Install, configure, and administer enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
  • Design, implement, and enhance proactive monitoring solutions for infrastructure, applications, and log management.
  • Monitor system, application, and log health to detect and resolve issues before they impact business operations.
  • Integrate monitoring tools across infrastructure and applications to improve operational visibility.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide actionable operational insights using tools such as Grafana, ELK, or SQL-based reporting.

Automation

  • Automate routine operational tasks using Ansible, Jenkins, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Develop automation workflows to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase reliability.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to optimize operational processes through automation.

Reliability Engineering & Operations Support

  • Support day-to-day reliability engineering activities and service requests.
  • Participate in production incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution to minimize service disruption.
  • Provide support during project implementations, system cutovers, and planned maintenance activities.
  • Support critical operational activities outside standard office hours when required, including production incidents and approved service requests.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, observability, or automation.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using Ansible, Shell, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Experience implementing and managing monitoring and observability solutions.
  • Good understanding of Windows, Linux/Unix, AWS Cloud, databases, and middleware platforms.
  • Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Grafana, ELK Stack, or SQL is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles is an advantage.
  • Relevant SRE or cloud certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
