SITE MANAGER

1. Project Site Leadership & Execution

◦ Lead all on-site construction activities, including coordinating with sub-contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.

◦ Develop and implement site work schedules, monitor daily progress against project milestones, and proactively resolve delays or bottlenecks.

◦ Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality meets project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

2. Safety, Health & Compliance (SHS)

◦ Enforce strict compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, Building Control Act, and all relevant local construction regulations.

◦ Conduct daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site safety audits to promote a zero-incident culture.

◦ Ensure all workers on-site are properly trained, certified, and equipped with necessary PPE manage risk assessments and hazard mitigation plans.

3. Stakeholder & Team Management

◦ Liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and local authorities (e.g., BCA, LTA) to coordinate approvals, resolve design issues, and address on-site queries.

◦ Manage the on-site team, including supervisors, foremen, and sub-contractors assign roles, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure efficient workflow.

◦ Communicate project updates, progress reports, and issues to the project management office (PMO) and senior management regularly.

4. Cost & Resource Control

◦ Monitor project budgets, track material usage, labour costs, and equipment expenses to prevent cost overruns.

◦ Manage material deliveries and inventory to avoid shortages or wastage coordinate equipment usage and maintenance to minimise downtime.

◦ Review work progress claims and sub-contractor invoices for accuracy before approval.

5. Quality Control & Handover

◦ Implement quality control procedures to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and BCA standards.

◦ Conduct punch list inspections, coordinate rectification of defects, and ensure smooth project handover to clients.

◦ Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, safety records, and as-built documentation.
