Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily on-site activities by managing subcontractors, in-house construction workers, and materials to ensure smooth operations
- Enforce health and safety regulations by conducting regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment
- Track project expenses and control costs to adhere to budgets and avoid delays
- Ensure construction work complies with design specifications, quality standards, and building regulations
- Prepare progress reports, review drawings, and maintain accurate project records
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, architects, and engineers to facilitate communication and resolve issues
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction management or site supervision
- Strong hands-on knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively manage in-house construction teams
- Proven problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills to handle project challenges and team coordination
