We are seeking a responsible and experienced Curtain Wall Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site execution of curtain wall and faade installation works. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate curtain wall, aluminium, glazing and faade installation works on site
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Liaise with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical and coordination matters
- Monitor work progress and prepare site reports and progress claims
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements
- Coordinate material delivery and manpower planning
- Attend site meetings and technical discussions
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building, or related discipline
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in curtain wall / faade / aluminium and glazing works
- Familiar with faade systems, shop drawings, and technical coordination
- Knowledge of local building regulations and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Candidates with experience in high-rise or commercial faade projects will have an advantage
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BIM / AutoCAD
- Knowledge of curtain wall system design and installation sequence
- Good understanding of structural and waterproofing details
