Site Engineer
The Site Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the progress of the site works of the project.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position is, and not limited to, as follows:
- Assist the project manager with on and off-site meetings about technical issues
- Monitor and supervise, ensure compliance with the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on the quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
- Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
- Coordinates between subcontractors/vendors/internal departments and monitors site manpower/material/equipment demands to meet schedules.
- Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and the Technical Department.
- Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material, and manpower requirements, and control the usage and wastage of all.
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
- Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at the site and recommend solutions to the relevant team/department.
- Ensuring that the site works are completed with high-quality standards and adhering to safety requirements throughout the project.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in building projects or civil infrastructure projects.
