Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily site operations to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with safety standards (WSH regulations).
• Conduct site inspections, identify and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, material usage logs, and manpower records.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for ongoing projects.
• Verify quantities and assist in preparing bills/claims for payment.
• Provide technical support and recommend solutions to overcome site challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma, experience in Construction, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project, BIM tools) is an advantage.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work beyond stipulated hours, including weekends/public holidays, when project demands require.
