Site Engineer / Technician

- Reporting directly to the Project Manager.

- Supervise subcontractors on the project activities as well as installation methodology.

- Conduct site supervision work to verify site installation as per design documents.

- Check availability of materials, tools and equipment during the installation stage as per project specifications.

- Attend project progress meetings with clients and end users.

- Attend to and follow up with factories / suppliers on any quality issues.

- To do site testing and commissioning for all installed equipment.

- Support the timely commissioning, SCADA / ICS and required testing completion.

Additional Remarks:

Hands-on Capability: The candidate must be able to perform and troubleshoot hands-on work related to site installation and commissioning.

Minimum Qualification & Core Knowledge: A Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation is required (a degree is not needed). Basic knowledge is necessary for SCADA, HMI, and PLC programming to perform/troubleshoot work related to system start-up/commissioning, though the candidate is not expected to write PLC programs.

Technical Familiarity: The role involves work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems from Siemens, ABB, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation), and GE Fanuc.
