Site Engineer

• To lead, supervise and coordinate the execution of M&E works on a worksite.
• Ensure the efficient and effective coordination and control of field construction activities.
• Adherence to applicable requirements of the Company Integrated Management System and Project Execution Plan.
• Ensure that risk reduction controls are in place and regularly reviewed for safety, environmental and quality aspects of the project.
• Organise, coordinate and direct field construction activities in accordance with work schedules whilst constantly monitoring the status of planning and quality activities.
• Maintain close contact with other Foremen to ensure continuity of job progress.
• Monitor and review the performance of the plan, labor and subcontractors to ensure production targets are met or bettered and take appropriate action as necessary.
• Promptly advise management of any issues that could be variations to the contract and keep accurate records of such issues.
• Ensure safe work conditions are maintained at all times.
• Maintain a daily record of all plan, labor, equipment, and on-site materials. Also maintain records of weather conditions, stoppages, incidents, and disputes.
• Ensure that environmental control measures are implemented.
• Any other duties as may be required by the Company

Requirements:-

• Certified qualifications in construction/civil/mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of site supervisory experience to oversee field construction activities.

• Committed to upholding workplace safety, accountability, teamwork and being customer-oriented.
• Able to work on Saturdays.
• Able to commence work within short notice
